Training is failing when you’re scaling.
With a new set of boosters strapped to the rocket ship, you recognise the importance of levelling up capabilities in your team. But that’s where the problems really begin.
-
You’ve promoted fantastic high potential IC’s into manager roles - without training, without mentorship, and without meaningful support. Did we really expect them to just work it out?!
-
As you grow, in size and even across geographies, your teams will start to drift. Communication gets patchy, knowledge doesn’t flow, and cross-functional work becomes slow, political, or painful. This isn’t just about process - it’s about people!
-
Performers at all levels expect opportunities to grow. When they don’t see it - especially in the form of training - they’re not thinking twice about abandoning ship for companies that are willing to invest.
-
Couple of quid for every seat on a learning platform sounds great until you realise no-one wants to use it. When people have access to the internet, they don’t need e-learning. They need experiences designed to drive behaviour change.
Peer-learning infrastructure is the combination of systems, spaces, and support that makes learning through others not just possible, but powerful and predictable.
From sessions to systems
Extending the value and impact of live learning with a platform, digital nudges, and a platform that keeps learning alive.
From isolation to conversation
Focussed on collaboration and reflective dialogue - where people make sense of real challenges and learn through shared experience.
From know-how to do-now
Learning journeys designed for action - supported by practical tools, behavioural prompts, and peer accountability.
From outsourcing to ownership
Equipping you with repeatable systems, content, and frameworks so you can build and run your own self-sustaining learning culture.
We might work with people, but we should learn with, from, and through people.
Peer-learning is ???? This is why it matters:
-
According to a 2020 study by the Harvard Business School, employees retain 90% of what they learn when they teach others, compared to just 10% through traditional instruction. When peers engage in structured learning anchored in active, reflective dialogue, knowledge is shared, skills are sharpened, and confidence is built - all whilst co-creating meaning, applying insights in context of their work, and holding each other accountable for action.
-
Especially in remote or hybrid teams, peer learning fosters the psychological safety and connection that’s essential for performance, by breaking down silos, normalising open dialogue, and builds collective competence - one of the key predictors of team effectiveness as identified by Google’s Project Aristotle.
-
When it comes to the human skills of work - especially in leadership and management - there’s no substitute for social learning. These are not theoretical skills - they’re relational, dynamic, and context-dependent. McKinsey research shows that the most effective leadership development programs are those that are experiential, social, and applied. Our approach combines exactly that: we build practice into peer experiences, so learning becomes part of work - not adjacent to it.

Our customers love Peerpod.
They love the ability to build their own tailored programmes, to deliver programming around the schedules of the team, and for the value it also creates as an employee engagement tool. But don’t just take our word for it - here’s some of theirs!
"We've been working with Peerpod for 2 years now, and I continue to be blown away by not just the resoundingly positive feedback from our people, but from the noticeable tangible impact we see on the performance of those people too. We’ve expanded our commitment for 2025 by over 40% - which tells you all you need to know about how we feel!”
Sophie Simmonds, Head of People, Wild Cosmetics
"The response from the team has been fantastic. Having a coach that was knowledgeable, empathetic but also a great listener has really paid dividends, and our people have really benefited from having exposure to the Peerpod approach and way of thinking."
Florence Hunt, VP People, BeZero Carbon
"The feedback from our initial trial was so stellar, we had no choice but to extend the programme to all of our managers. Peerpod is now a critical part of how we both attract and retain top talent. Every fast growing company needs this type of support"
Richard Robinson, CEO, Robin AI
Hey, I’m Carl Martin!
I’ve been building and leading teams for over 16 years - from big corporations like Burberry through to product design studios like ustwo. My work as a coach and facilitator not only taps into this experience, but also my adventures building the L&D functions of a venture capital fund (LSE:FWD) and a Series B fuelled scaleup (Farewill).
Peerpod was born from a strong belief that meaningful, high-impact social learning experiences aren’t only just possible in virtual settings, but can become a unique advantage for distributed companies aiming to grow their people and cultures.
